Groupe Mojazine is one of the leading companies in Morocco for the realization of road works and civil engineering projects in the construction sector. With approximately 1,400 employees and a constantly growing turnover, the group aims to actively contribute to the sustainable development of the country.

After the installation of our system, Groupe Mojazine created BITUMED, a company dedicated to the production and sale of bituminous emulsions and modified bitumen (PMB) to third parties.

Project

Complete turnkey installation of a series of systems for the production of bitumen emulsions and modified bitumen (PMB).

This is the first installation of this type carried out in Morocco by our company for a private client - excluding the refinery sector.

The installation includes:

- emulsions production plant type MATIC 3500 AA TS with capacity up to 15 tons/h;
- PMB production plant type CHALLENGER-S with capacity up to 20 tons/h;
- 3 tanks to feed pure bitumen to the two plants, type TH56, capacity 50 cubic meters each;
- 3 digesters for PMB maturation, type PMBTH56, capacity 50 cubic meters each;
- 2 vertical silos for storing emulsions, type TVE35 with a capacity of 35 cubic meters each;
- 1 diathermic oil boiler, type MG100, power 1.000.000 kcal/h for heating oil supply to the whole installation;
- all the piping and connection valves for the entire installation;
- laboratory mill, type LAB-3, for verification/tuning of emulsion production recipes.

What we have done

We assisted Groupe Mojazine:

- in identifying the most suitable type of equipment to effectively meet their needs;
- in sizing the storage areas for raw materials and finished products;
- in positioning the components and connecting the various pipelines, using step-by-step drawings to illustrate all the stages of assembly;
- with the first start-up of the systems;
- by training the personnel in charge of management;
- with continuous support to make improvements and respond to new needs and expansion requirements (after-sales support).

Result

At first, Groupe Mojazine had approved the investment to produce bituminous emulsions and modified bitumen for its own use only.
After the positive experience with our systems, the customer decided to resell the bituminous products to third parties.
For this reason, the group created an ad hoc company, called BITUMED, specialized in the production of bituminous emulsions and modified bitumen (PMB).
